Julia Brimo Piano
Julia’s music education on piano & violin, resulted in being awarded a full scholarship to the Sydney Conservatorium, studying with Alexander Sverjensky, Nancy Salas and Eva Kelly. This led to a lifetime love of accompanying and chamber music. Julia spent 18 years at Abbotsleigh, as accompanist and conductor of their string orchestra, which had much success. She is, for the past 4 years, accompanist at Knox Grammar School and has started a small ensemble playing baroque repertoire. She is also currently accompanist for the Rising Stars program at the Conservatorium on Saturdays, as well as being part of a quartet on a world cruise ship, and having a busy time playing for examinations, eisteddfods, music camps and lots of unexpected interesting activities.
